People shed their winter wears in order to enjoy the sweet breeze of Spring. We're talking about birds & bees, honey & trees... The only thing surpassing the natural splendor of this seasonal shift is March Madness, baby!

CocoVail is honoring this great month with our revamped edition of March Madness in Barcelona. We have game specials in store, and we plan to set the tone, so you feel like you're watching the games back on American soil.

What is March Madness?

The NCAA, National Collegiate Athletic Association, puts on this glorious event each and every year for the world to enjoy. March Madness started in 1939, and it's basically a national holiday at this point. March Madness is 3 weekends of basketball with 64 teams in a win or go home tournament format. All it takes is 6 wins in a row to win it all. It can't be that hard, right? Well, it's actually considered one of the most unpredictable sports contests year after year. Filling out a perfect bracket is basically impossible, but it's really fun to give it a try.

These college ballers leave it all on the court, and that fire provided some amazing sports moments over the past few decades. Here are some of the best moments ever!

On another note, it finally happened! A #16 seed finally beat a #1 seed for the first time ever in 2018. Hats off to UMBC (University of Maryland-Baltimore County) for their victory over Virginia! #amazing
